Responsible for the support and maintenance of all classroom and lab computers on campuses at Magnolia, Rancho San Diego, Vista Grande and Fuerte Elementary schools (From 2001 to March of 2004), and now at Cajon Valley Middle School, where we have approximately 280 classroom and lab computers (Including Macintoshes and PCs running Windows 2K & XP). Responsibilities include setting up wireless routers and access points, installing Operating Systems, security updates and software titles, debugging network problems and extension conflicts, routine preventive maintenance, and addition of new equipment. Work with teachers on how to effectively use the software and hardware, including individual and group training sessions.
Developed and lead the After-School Computer Homework Club. Work with students to perform research using the internet, and incorporate their findings into Word and Appleworks documents and PowerPoint presentations, including test, sound transition animations and images and video clips.
Developed and lead the After-School Advanced Computer Club. Work with Advanced students to develop web pages that incorporate bulleted text items, images, relative and absolute links to local and remote pages, tables for effective content organization, and consistent navigation functions.

Design and Implementation of a prototype Report Generator for IntelliScope, a Knowledge Base navigator. This User Interface tool generated reports from a knowledge base extracted from relational databases on external DBMSs. IntelliScope was an object-oriented system written with KEE, an expert system toolkit that incorporated a frame-based, Object-Oriented knowledge base.

Web Designer/Systems Administrator
Initial staff-person for the Project READ Computer Lab. Helped formulate Lab goals, specified and implemented hardware and software requirements, purchased and installed various hardware devices. I oversaw lab usage and helped youths and adults use the educational and ESL software provided.
Designed, implemented and maintained the Computer Lab web pages of the Redwood City Project READ Web Site. Built the computer lab section based on management input, refined site usage based on user feedback and usability guidelines. Promoted the site on all major Portals and Search Engines, and added the site to many local and national Volunteer web pages.
